U Mahesh Prabhu’s career as a journalist began as editor-in-chief of ASEEMAA: Journal for National Resurgence (A political monthly), where he had the privilege of bringing in some of the finest journalists from across the world, including USA, UK, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, as regular contributors/columnists. Prior to this he has had a fairly successful career with the corporates for five years. Some of his prestigious appointments include Head of Marketing at Prakash Business Solutions Pvt Ltd., Regional Manager at MCDeCOM Ltd, Vice President at Bharath Bookmark, Chief Advisor at Abideep Industries Ltd., and Vice President (Marketing) at Kurlon Ltd.
Mahesh was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain & Ireland, London, UK in 2008 for his editorials published during the year.
He has contributed articles and columns to The Times of India, Indian Express, Organiser Weekly, The Verdict, Vijaya Karnataka and Front Page Magazine (USA).
After his ouster from ASEEMAA he was made Director of Prabal Publishing where he rendered his services for a brief period before opting out to start Folksmagazine.com a premier apolitical monthly.
He has delivered over fifty guest lectures at various prestigious management and journalism schools. Besides he has also worked as a PR adviser and consultant to several business, non-government as well as governmental bodies.
